Terms of Service

Scope
These terms govern use of the operated Layer service at hevlayer.com, including hosted APIs, dashboards, support, and managed operations. They do not replace the license for self-hosted gateway source code. Self-hosted gateway use is governed by the applicable gateway license and the Layer trademark policy.
Acceptable Use
Do not use the hosted service to violate laws, abuse infrastructure, interfere with other tenants, bypass access controls, exfiltrate data, or process data you do not have the right to use. We may suspend access to protect the service, other users, or upstream providers.
Customer Data
You retain ownership of your data. Layer uses customer data only to provide, secure, debug, and improve the service. Do not submit regulated or highly sensitive data unless a written agreement explicitly covers that use case.
Accounts, Billing, and Support
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. Paid plans, usage limits, support commitments, and service levels are governed by the applicable order form or written agreement.
Availability and Changes
The hosted service may change as Layer evolves. Preview and design partner features may be modified, limited, or discontinued. Production service commitments require a separate written agreement.
Disclaimers and Liability
Except where a written agreement says otherwise, the hosted service is provided as is and without warranties. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
